KEMOLIT® PCP plate is improved KEMOLIT® PO7 plate made for your future. Why? Kemolit® PCP is not suitable only as a conventional printing plate but also as a CTP plate. The conventional plate becomes CTP plate when exposing to UV laser system, which first developed Lüscher with platesetter XPose designed for UV-sensitive conventional plates, also it can be used in Basys print systems with UV laser systems.

The plate is used in offset print for medium and long print runs. It is also suitable for proof printing presses. In extreme printing conditions we recommend thermal treatment of the printing form.

KEMOLIT® PCP plate is actually a KEMOLIT® E plate coated with the light sensitive diazo coating, developable in alkaline water developers. The reproductive capacity of the copying layer the fine grained plate surface is excellent. Due to better hydrophilic property of the substrate, the developing is speeded up, which provides a clean image and instant balance between water and ink during printing. Due to a special colour of the light sensitive coating, KEMOLIT® PCP plate provides a contrast copy visible in the yellow protective illumination immediately after the exposure. Developed plate is also suitable for plate scanners in computer-aided pre-regulation of the printing presses.

KEMOLIT® PCP is a sophisticated plate with a special surface coating which provides better adhesion between film and the plate in the vacuum copying frame. Since the effect of under-copying is reduced to the minimum, the plate can also be used in printing large raster areas.
