Teflon® is a registered trademark of the company Chemours and represents a wide range of industrial and household applications. PTFE is a thermoplastic polymer composed of the elements carbon and fluorine.

Fluoropolymer coatings (PTFE, FEP, PFA or ETFE) have very good chemical and UV resistance. They have a low coefficient of friction and a high temperature range from -200°C to +260°C. They are used to protect process equipment in chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical companies.

Thin-film protection is applied by powder coatings (electrostatic method) or dispersions. Thicker coatings are produced by spraying molten granulate into a mould. Tubes and rods are produced by sintering and extrusion of fluoropolymer powders

The Teflon® coating protects components from aggressive chemicals and high temperatures, thus extending their service life. By treating the components appropriately, we act in the spirit of sustainability and preservation of the existing materials for the long term, while managing and slowing down the process of material deterioration and, consequently, reducing the market/buyer's need for replacements.

Re-use of worn valves

Aware of the need to reduce the consumption of materials and the associated reduction of their environmental impact, we strive to achieve sustainable solutions and successfully implement them in the market. In our portfolio, we offer a service for the reconditioning of worn valves, which, with appropriate treatment, are regenerated to the extent that they can be reused in industrial processes.

Optimising the use of raw materials in our production processes

An investment in new Teflonisation process equipment has enabled us to achieve our planned objectives of optimising raw material consumption in powder Teflon applications. The implemented solution only confirms our focus on sustainable applications. The new equipment helps us to manage the Teflon waste that is lost to the environment during the Teflonisation process, thus reducing the Teflon consumption in the process itself, while at the same time not affecting the quality of the Teflonised material, as it contains all the Teflon required for a high quality protection.
