Cinkarna Celje, d.d., participated in the joint investor day of the Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges—CEE Investment Opportunities—which traditionally brings together top listed companies from Slovenia and Croatia with institutional investors and analysts from the region and broader Europe.
More than 35 investors and analysts from Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Sweden, and Estonia participated in the event, which enabled numerous 1-on-1 meetings between companies and investors.
The opening session included a market overview of the Slovenian and Croatian capital markets, presented by Raiffeisen Bank International, highlighting current macroeconomic trends and investment conditions. State Secretary Nikolina Prah presented Slovenian government initiatives aimed at developing the local capital market, including the introduction of individual investment accounts (INR) and new retail bonds.
The central event was a roundtable on the development of the Slovenian capital market, featuring representatives from NLB, the Chamber of Commerce (GZS), the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, and InterCapital. The discussion emphasized the importance of further incentives, tax reforms, and systemic improvements to boost investment interest.
