Cinkarna Celje d.d. Announces Appointment of Dr Nika Veronovski as Member of the Management Board - Labour Director

The Supervisory Board of Cinkarna Celje d.d., at its meeting held on 10 November 2025, appointed Dr Nika Veronovski as Member of the Management Board - Labour Director, following a proposal by the Works Council. This appointment reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening collaboration between employees and management and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Dr Nika Veronovski i brings over 15 years of experience at Cinkarna Celje. She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering and has extensive experience in surface modification, the development and characterisation of new materials, and their applications. Her work also focuses on optimising production processes and improving the final properties of titanium dioxide (TiO₂), the company’s main product.

As a R&D engineer, she successfully meets production challenges and seeks innovative solutions that contribute to more efficient process management and optimised use of raw materials and chemicals. She is passionate about work that combines creative thinking with technical expertise and is particularly motivated by collaboration with colleagues across all over the company, as well as with external experts, customers and research institutions.

My goal is to continue building an environment in which every employee can contribute their knowledge, ideas, and creativity,” said the newly appointed Labour Director, Dr Veronovski.

Dr Veronovski is the author of numerous articles published in domestic and international scientific journals, as well as independent chapters in professional books. She gladly shares her extensive knowledge with younger colleagues, mentoring undergraduate and master’s students and encouraging the development of new generations of professionals.
